Logo Color

In the beginning of 2015 I joined the District Lit team as Outreach and Communications Coordinator with the mission to help build an ever inclusive and diverse online community. In my short tenure, we have successfully launched a Readers’ Choice Awards campaign celebrating the work of every DL writer published between 2012-2014, created a chapbook featuring Dana Yosts‘ and Faith Gardner’s work as the Readers’ Choice winners, went to AWP meeting many wonderful writers and future DL contributors, and now, with much excitement, we are launching our first poetry contest judged by Sarah Vap!

Sarah Vap, the author of one of my favorite books of poetry, End of the Sentimental Journey, will bring a passionate and smart poetry to DL readers. Please consider submitting your work! The contest runs through May 8th, 2015. For more detail visit www.districtlit.com
