Voting is a Feminist Issue

It was not until 1920 with the ratification of the 19th Amendment across the entire United States did American women get the right to vote.  For a country that is relatively 236 years old, women have only be able to be a part of the constitutional and political voice for 92 years of that, or 39% of our country’s lifespan.

By going out and voting today, you are finally being given the opportunity to shape the future of our lives in the ways you see best fit. By practicing your civic duty you are fulfilling a terrific feminist cause. Do not deny yourself your voice by not voting. You are important, and your vote is valuable….
