Happy Birthday, The Inner Loop!

On April 1, 2014 I was honored to read at The Inner Loop’s inaugural reading event. It’s been a year, and tonight we are celebrating TIL’s first birthday with more readings and partying, and once again, I am honored to read at this anniversary event.

Along with featured reader, Lisa Sewell, and 15 other local writers in a “flash reading,” I’ll be reading some new work! In this past year of The Inner Loop, co-hosts Courtney Sexton and Rachel Coonce have dedicated themselves to building an ever-stronger and collaborative DC literary community. Their efforts have brought us a monthly reading series, a website featuring local writers, retreat events, and workshops! I am proud to be a part of their community, and hope you’ll join us tonight in celebrating everything that’s been achieved over this past year! #showusyourskivvies
