In a recent Smithsonian.com article, “When Did Girls Start Wearing Pink?” Jeanne Maglaty delves into the baby obsession of gender identification through clothing.  We know the rule right?  Girls wear pink, boys wear blue and it is only fair to the world to dress your child appropriately so there are no awkward introductions or osmosis of baby gender confusion.
