Lighthouse Reading Series at CSU Poetry Center with Sheila McMullin & Eric Fair
On May 25, 2016, I received a phone call from the ever stalwart and brilliant writer and Cleveland State University Poetry Center Director + Editor Caryl Pagel giving me the most exciting and heart-stopping news of my literary, probably entire, life.
My manuscript, daughterrarium, was chosen by Daniel Borzutzky, another hero and an illustrious writer and editor, as the winner of the 2016 CSU Poetry Center First Book Prize!
It is with no subtle excitement on my end that on November 3rd I will be traveling to Cleveland to read from my book for the Lighthouse Reading Series hosted by the Poetry Center along with Eric Fair.
